Profile: Chris Knowles

Hello, I am 14 and I go to Brayton College. I am the Secretary for the Selby District Youth Council and one of the founding members.

My role in SDYC is to take the minutes and work closely with the Chair to produce the monthly agendas. I receive emails from people requesting to attend our meetings and deal with all the general information, I liase with all the members regarding their roles.

I am also one of the young people that help with the Youth Charter. I like being on the Youth Council because it requires me to take on a lot of the responsibility, which is good practise for adulthood.
